I have a similar story about learning to do backups.
Late one night, after working on a spreadsheet for about three hours, I leaned back and somehow managed to kick the plug out of the socket.
Funny how it sometimes takes a negative experience that creates a ton of work for ourselves to teach us simple tricks to make life easier.
