I'm having considerable difficulty converting a XP-Word doc to PDF.

While I found one posting that attempts to respond to this problem, it is
unfortunately not specific enough (just download the Acrobat Distiller).

I've contacted Adobe's User Forum, but no luck there. I also contacted my
printer manufacturer support site (HP laserjet 2100 series) downloads and
found the directions for install lacking specificity (i.e., how does the
user locate the correct "PPD" file amidst the many included with the
download)?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might offer.
Phil
