I have also found Physical Review Focus very good http://focus.aps.org/.

They write summaries of articles that appear in Physical Review Letters.
These summaries are directed to High School Teachers/Students and College
Undergrads. Generally they are very clear expositions of rather complex
issues. Highly recommended.
