I'm trying to research the 'standard' ratios between developers and
technical authors. Does anyone have any figures they can provide please?

This has been asked before, and if I remember it correctly, the consensus was that there are no standard ratios. The number of developers depends on the volume and difficulty of the coding, while the number of tech writers depends on the 'volume' of user interaction. The two are not necessarily connected, so there is no fixed ration between developers and writers.

You may want to search the archives for details of discussions past.
