Okay, I know this is going to sound weird... but I'm not in Tech Writing right now and I miss it.

I read everything technology-related that I can get my hands on. I'm trying to teach myself some "useful" things (XML, Visual Basic, Flash, etc.) Right now though, the market just isn't there yet and I can't get back in. Believe me, I will as soon as I can. I know there are downfalls to being a Tech Writer. I know having an SME that won't talk to you is annoying. But, you know what, it's kind of like a good marriage. If you love it... if it fits, you don't want anything else. I'd rather have a difficult SME, than none at all.

So, for all of you still in the fray... give me an uplifting thought... would you? And maybe a suggestion on what to do in the mean time (oh, and money and time are both extremely tight).
