I find that technical editing can interfere with recreational reading
and television viewing. Lately there has been a TV ad that haunts my
editorial eye like the afterimage of a flashbulb.

It is for a CD of Christian "Songs of Worship" one of which, according
to the subtitle, is "Angus Dei". Holy cow! Shouldn't that be on a
Hindu album.

You would think that for the cost involved in TV advertising they
could hire a competent editor.

A man must have a certain amount of intelligent
ignorance to get anywhere.
