Some of you are probably familiar with the Gilbane Report (www.gilbane.com),
but we cover content management, XML, and related technologies. A key focus
over the years has been technology that impacts document creation,
management, and distribution, including technical documentation and product
data.

We are having a conference in Los Angeles at the end of March, including a
focused tutorial for technical documentation, "Key XML Technologies and
Trends in Content Management" that I will be teaching. We think this would
be perfect opportunity for
technical communicators to convene and learn the latest on using XML. If
you represent a group or large organization, we would like to discuss
offering a discount to members of your organization.

I should mention I am a former technical writer and course developer with
experience in software and hardware documentation in such industries as
enterprise software, aerospace, and automotive. The tutorial will be
focused on the needs and requirements of technical communicators and the IT
staff who support them.

For information about the conference, please see:

Please feel free to contact me by email or phone to discuss this.

Thanks,

Bill
