. Where did you get the idea that the list was a Survivors of
. Mean Tech Writers Support Group? We all have different
. perspectives and attitudes about issues. Just because
. somebody does not agree with you, does not mean they're
. being unprofessional or a bully.
.
. Frankly, real pros constantly question and analyze ideas,
. attitudes, and practices within their profession. Its the
. amateurs get offended when their ideas are challenged. If
. you cannot stand having your ideas or practices challenged,
. then don't publicize them.
.
. I am sorry if you (or anybody) finds my posts offensive.
. But, I am not your friend or mother. When somebody posts
. something to this forum that sounds wrong I am within the
. rules to say "hey, that's wrong" or "you're out of whack."
. If this offends you, then use the awe inspiring power of
. your delete key and delete all my messages unread. Ignore
. all my posts completely.
.
. Now, get the hell back to work, you.
.
. Andrew Plato

I think there is a message worth hearing, here, however - that we can be
direct without being prickly.

...and Andrew, I'd hate to have somebody deleting all of anyone's posts - if
you get past the delivery, there is an awful lot of knowledge floating
around here. I learn something everyday.

fwiw,
