Most suggestions so far are to look for colour mapping and background
colours. I've tweaked the colour settings and not both headings appear
when I create the PDF :-)
However, both graphics are now gone :-(
This seems to be the way to go - may be a case of trial and error but
it's got to be better than re-doing the whole chapter.
