Subject:Stopping automatic repagination of Word From:Martin Bosworth <martinhbosworth -at- gmail -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 1 Nov 2005 11:39:47 -0500
Hello!
I have a friend who's being bedeviled by a very large proposal written
in Word. The document controls keep automatically repaginating the
document every time she makes a change. I've never seen this before,
but I put nothing past Word in terms of stupidity. :)
Are there any tips to preventing automatic repagination of a large
Word document? I've looked at the Help files, and they are, naturally,
not helpful.
Thanks!
Martin
P.S. Yes, I know one obvious tip is to switch to FrameMaker or another
tool specifically designed for this sort of thing. :)
