If no one on the list can help, you might consider these alternatives:

-- A freeware viewer for Word Pro files:

export that to RTF.

--An online conversion service ($10/MB):

They also sell conversion software with broad capabilities, if this sort
of thing comes up often.

-- Convert to HTML and then open that with Word. This page lists some
