I think Fred's comments were interesting and informative, and added to
the discussion at hand. As someone who worked for Johnson O'Connor
Research Foundation in a past life, I happen to know that musical
aptitudes are especially strongly associated with an aptitude for seeing
spatial relationships, so his introduction of geometry is on point and
adds value to the discussion.

I wasn't aware of the "square on..." wording, and now I can see the
squares sitting on the sides in my mind. Maybe you don't "give a flip,"
but some of us do.

I think the accusation that he's "interested in finding errors" and
"nit-picking" is grossly unfair and stems from your insecurity, not the
words in his post.

I think you owe him an apology.
