How is the link to the help being called?
If it is on a local (C) drive, then file:\\\ is the typical method of
opening HTML files, if it is on a network drive, then it may be possible
that \\folder\file.htm is being used (which won't work on the C drive).
Can you take a copy of the Help system and open it directly yourself, from
both network and C drive? If that works then it is definitely HOW it is
being called by the application.
>From past experience though, I just told the developers to let Windows file
associations handle it, so the Webhelp would just open in the default
browser on the user machine.
Just some thoughts.

Subject: Opening WebHelp off C Drive
Here's the situation:
* Our software application resides on the local (C drive)
* The Help system (which is WebHelp) also resides on the C drive with the
application.
Question: In a situation like this, when "Help" is clicked in the
application, has anyone experienced difficulties getting the WebHelp system
to open?
In our situation, the Help system opens fine if both it and the application
reside on a network drive. But Help won't open if both reside on the C
drive.
Thanks for any input.
Keith
