Having been a former business journalist, I can tell you that the journalist
didn't make up the term, he/she was using what someone they interviewed
called it. Very few journalists have the technical background to even
understand "IT" or the computer industry. Those of us that do often started
in the industry before getting our degree in journalism. So, instead of
blaming the messenger, blame somebody in the industry who for making up the
term, then blame everyone else for using it. It's all their fault...
