Melissa Marrs wondered: <<I am curious to know how some of you name
or title your display grids?>>

First, I'd want to know what you mean by "display grid". I can think
of several possiblities. From what you say:

<<For example, we have a display grid that lists department codes and
descriptions that have been created in the system. In the past,
we've called the display grid "Department Code display grid" but now
I am trying to think of something more generic I suppose?>>

This description suggests that you mean a "table", which is the
ubiquitous word for this kind of presentation of information. If
that's correct, then "display grid" is the $100 phrase for a $1
concept, and most of your audience (people like me, with a beer
budget rather than a champagne budget) won't have the faintest idea
what you mean.
