It would be diligence if you were corresponding directly with MadCap, who are the only people who can actually address the issue.
Continuing to flog the issue on the list is a deliberate annoyance for the hundreds of people who are members of the list. And telling all those people that you intend to continue this pointless thread and that they should just stop reading it if they don't like it is the height of arrogance, IMO.
