I doubt it. My reasons for choosing Iron over Chrome were based on my theory that a browser that had fewer things going on under the hood and was sending less data upstream while it was downloading would be faster and more stable. I haven't done timing tests, but it feels as if it's faster and it doesn't crash as much as Chrome did when I tried it, but I haven't tried any newer Chrome builds since I switched a couple of years ago.
