Hi Ami,

(representing software vendor DITA Exchange)

I know quite a few global companies (hundred's :-)) writing technical documentation with DITA XML and wanting to output to Word, and we have an excellent solution for that. I think I've only met with one company using LaTeX - but then again I'm not focused on LaTeX so I'm not the right person to ask.

However if somebody created a LaTeX2DITA xslt and made that available (e.g. as part of DITA Open Toolkit), then that can be used as a middle station for publishing via our solution or via DITA Open Toolkit.

Just my $0.02

Cheers,

Best Regards

Wow. Is there really nobody doing this? Is nobody writing tech doc with LaTeX, or nobody wants Word output from it?
