Online documentation - call it WebHelp, or?

Subject: Online documentation - call it WebHelp, or?

My company is looking at putting product documentation on the Web, while
keeping a local copy for users who do not have Internet access.

I find it helpful to think in terms of WebHelp, because it imposes an
organizational, document-centered constraint on content.

However, several sites I can think of that have online documentation do not
really use a traditional WebHelp idea.

Some examples of online documentation (not WebHelp-like):
http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/topics.html

http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.4/

Some examples of WebHelp-like documentation (not surprisingly, by two XML
editor companies):
http://oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-editor/

http://webhelp.madcapsoftware.com/flare9/Default.htm

What type of documentation structure do you like to have for Web
availability?
