Hello All,

Please share your thoughts/ideas about technical documentation quality
measurement. Please let me know about articles or links to articles
regarding measurement of technical documentation quality.

Any sort of survey in this area suffers immensely from selection bias.

Closest I've ever seen to a good analysis was a customer survey we did at Prime Computer back in the days of printed documentation. Customers tended to rate Prime's docs as much higher quality than IBM's.

Unfortunately for Prime, IBM survives and Prime is gone. Was it too much quality in the docs?
