I, who rarely post here and almost never do social media of any type, came
very close to leaving a comment about this wonderful article apologizing
for the comment of another technical writer. It taints us all.

It was a wonderful informative article on digital typesetting; I learned a
lot and was amused. Also, the writer did something crucial to good
technical writing--he knows his audience and wrote to meet their
assumptions, knowledge, and understanding.
