Also, the place where you went to download it should be very specific about
what version it is offering. I haven't heard before of people thinking
they were downloading one version, and getting another. Did you download
from Microsoft?

I, for one, am simply waiting for Microsoft to have a version that works
well before I download it. When I hear people praising it and saying
they're glad they use IE4, then I'll download it. Until then, I'll use an
older version or Netscape.

The current newest version also comes with a desktop. I want to know more
about the desktop before I use IE4.
