I'm working with HTML Help workshop and ActiveMovie to make a short
multimedia tutorial. I ran into a strange problem:
- if I use ActiveMovie in a regular HTML file, it finds and loads the
related AVI file correctly
- if I use this HTML+ActiveMovie file in a HTML Help file (CHM), ActiveMovie
seems to be no more able to find and load its AVI file and I get an error
message (just the word "error"...). It seems that the compression/archiving
action performed by HTML Help workshop had fooled the link logic of
ActiveMovie.
Of course, I tried a few different pathname syntaxies and I put the AVI
files inside the CHM, but it did not work.
Any suggestion (put aside a pilgrimage to Lourdes...)?
