I'm reading "The Practical SQL Handbook," by Judith Bowman, and so far it
has really served my needs. It's hard to find a book that talks about
database structure on a beginner's level, but this one does. There's a
companion CD with a Sybase database on it so you can practice commands and
work with the examples.
