Kelly,

Thanks for that URL! I got some really good ideas for updating my resume
from the before and after analyses. For example, I'm going to move the bulk
of my experience up into a different section, instead of writing all the
wonderful things I did at a job in the work experience section.

A bit of advice from anyone who would like to offer it: I've been tech
writing for about 5 years, the first two of which I was with a big name
organization that has recently gotten some really bad press. Not that that
bothers me... or should it? Are people actually going to discriminate
against someone who worked for an org that's gone down in flames? Also,
after leaving that company, I've been contracting ever since, and have a
series of 3 month (and shorter) assignments on my rez. Would you suggest
trimming any of these off my resume? I'm also including a
pre-college-graduation job that involved a lot of desktop publishing and
marketing experience. Should I keep it on there?
