Here's a pebble in my shoe. Occasionally, for example
in some RFPs, I have to attach appendices to
documents. These appendices are documents that in turn
often have appendices (and TOCs) of their own.
Obviously, when there are several of these compound
appendices attached to a doc, this could cause some
confusion as to where an appendix ends and a new
appendix--as opposed to a sub appendix--begins.
Especially since they tend to be formatted very

I'm considering re-naming the embedded appendices as
"Sub-Appendix A, Sub-Appendix B," etc. But if the next
couple of appendices also have sub-appendices, it
starts getting very unelegant to name those
"Sub-sub-Appendix A, Sub-sub-sub-Appendix A...

Any thoughts?
