1. Someone high-profile leaves the list and states that as of this post, they are gone.
2. A ton of posts respond as if the person who has left is going to read them.

By all means, lets discuss the list environment, tone, etc. (again). But let's take the man at his word, and email recriminations, best wishes, apologies, and sundry remarks *for* Andrew *to* Andrew. Hey, presto, improved signal:noise ratio.
