Count me among that group; my mail reader can't even display HTML mail,
and I'm happy that way. Some newer readers are now providing the option
to avoid rendering HTML mail, or (for privacy reasons) to block loading
any files that are outside the mail itself (there go your graphics).

However, the original poster made it clear that her recipients have
already agreed to receive HTML mail, so I think everybody's been assuming
"happy recipients" as part of this discussion.
